Design that is adaptable, changeable and beautiful is always something that catches my eye. Combined with crafting skill Well Well Designers have developed Pop-Up, a corner lamp delivered in an envelope.
The Pop-up corner light is delivered in an envelope with the electric cord. The lamp is constructed from a sheet of tinted cardboard. The sheet is cut and incised, in such a way to produce a square, triangular or circular module when folded at a 90° angle. Intended for the corner of a room, the lamp creates a luminous shape, interacting with the architecture. It cleverly takes advantage of a space often unexploited in design.
What the logos are really saying.
Even if a brand is trying to express their core values and identity through a logo, there will always be the true side that the customers see. Let’s be honest, if you’re a publicly traded company your number one priority is to make more money and beat estimates. Personally speaking, I trust privately owned companies that put their money where their mouth is and illustrate good morals throughout their brand.
This is one of those unnecessary things but you just want it.

Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Vaughn is a designer, illustrator and letterer. His work is marked by hand-drawn characters, letters, vibrant colors, and a bit of randomness.
When not 9-to-5ing at Taylor Design in Stamford, he spends the other hours creating in a variety of ways for himself and others. He’s had the pleasure of collaborating with clients such as American Express, Sarah Lawrence, Grooveshark, Golden West Humanitarian Foundation, University of Connecticut and the Hall Pass Tour. For himself, he puts together posters, prints and short-run zines including So Far So Good, Nothing New, and Note to Self.
This is literally everything there is to know about me. Vaughn Fender and I might be soulmates.
